The Bimundors Oak is an English Oak x White Oak Hybrid. The English oak is a very long lived species (1,000+ years) native to Europe, northern Africa and western Asia. The White Oak likely needs no introduction as it produces mast that is nearly top of the list when it comes to attracting deer. A hybrid of two trees indigenous to different continents, Bimundors Oak means “oak of two worlds”. Bimundors oak is a heavy producer of highly palatable acorns. It also produces mast at a young age, typical of many hybrid oaks. Expect Bimundors Oak to drop during October and November.
