The Willow Oak is a heavy annual producer of small acorns. The size of its acorns coupled with its ability to withstand flooding make it a valuable species to waterfowl.

The small leaves resemble that of a willow tree, and give this tree a unique look compared to other oak species. Beautiful dark-green leaves give way to a variety of colors in autumn. The Willow Oak is a very popular ornamental selection due to its beauty and adaptability.

Soil Requirements: Acidic, high- adaptability to a variety of sights, tolerant of moist sites but does not like extended flood periods
