The American Persimmon has earned its reputation as a “deer magnet” among hunters and managers. Individual trees express some variation in when they drop their fruit, but on average, our persimmons will be putting fruit on the ground in September and October. Persimmons are dioecious, meaning that there are male and female plants. While the males aid in pollination, only females will produce fruit. We are selling un-sexed seedlings.
