Meet The Owner / Operator
Richey Burge
I graduated from Auburn University in 2009, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Wildlife Sciences. I have worked as a consultant and actively managed private properties since 2012. My primary focus has been working with landowners that wish to improve their whitetail herds. By 2015, I was actively managing 8 properties with over 200 acres of food plots, 180 acres of dove fields, and thousands of acres to be burned each year. Doing the vast majority of the work, I feel this was an important learning period that helped me unite the science of wildlife management with practical application.
In 2018, I started Bolu Tree Nursery. Our mission is to provide customers with the highest quality trees available at a fair price, and to provide them with the guidance and resources to ensure the success of those trees in the field.
The name “Bolu” came from the names of the Burge’s two girl, Bonnie and Lucy.
Bolu Trees is a family owned and operated nursery, serving our customers since 2018. Assisting landowners with improving and managing their properties for game species is our passion.
We are happy to help you put together a tree order based on your region, soils and objectives. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
