Diospyros kaki “Fuyu”

Produces a deep orange fruit that ripens in November. This non-astringent variety is increasing in popularity as delicious table fare. The fruit has a mildly sweet flavor with crispy texture when pulled fresh from the tree. Self-fertile, but fruit production will increase when planted with at least one additional variety.
