Mother tree purchased from Matt Jeane of Ruston, Louisiana. Matt reportedly found this tree near an old farm house in central Alabama. In north Georgia, the russetted baseball- sized fruits drop from early November through early December. This tree surely is an excellent deer orchard selection. -Description provided by David Osborn
